About Howard Goralnick, Attorney
Howard Goralnick attended Clark University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Government, and was elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Howard subsequently attended law school at Boston University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. Howard is a member of the Connecticut and Massachusetts bars. Prior to joining the Credit Report Law Group, Howard gained extensive knowledge in the litigation process when he worked for all three levels of the court system in the State of Connecticut. Howard spent most of his legal career working as a Staff Attorney for the Connecticut Judicial Branch. As a Staff Attorney for over sixteen years, Howard advised the Justices of the Connecticut Supreme Court, which is the highest-level court in Connecticut, as well as the Judges of the Connecticut Appellate Court, which is the first court of appellate review, on civil, family, and criminal appeals. Howard’s work as a Staff Attorney consisted of identifying and analyzing jurisdictional issues that arose in pending appeals, as well as researching and drafting court memoranda regarding procedural and substantive aspects of the appeals. Howard also worked as a law clerk in the Connecticut Superior Court, which is the state trial court of general jurisdiction. As a law clerk, Howard researched and drafted legal memoranda for the Superior Court Judges on civil, family, and criminal law issues. Howard gained further litigation experience when he joined the law firm of Bulkley, Richardson, and Gelinas, LLP (BR&G). As a litigation associate for BR&G, Howard had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex cases, which involved such diverse areas as patent infringement, telecommunications, employment, and divorce. Howard is also a certified mediator, and his extensive training and experiences as a mediator have helped him gain knowledge of how to negotiate and settle complex cases. As an associate of the Credit Report Law Group, Howard now focuses his attention on helping consumers correct harmful errors in their credit reports and assert their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
